Christmas Season at CBC Health Services Maintains Its Usual Steam
The sounds of Christmas Carols, Praise, and Worship songs resonated at the Central Administration of the CBC Health Services for a week during the Christmas Season of 2023. The week dedicated as a Week of Praise by the Director of CBC Health Services, Prof. Tih Pius Muffih once again reminded staff that the Christmas celebration within the CBC Health Services is unique.
In the past years, Christmas has always been a special season marked either by Christmas parties with the exchange of gifts, or singing at departmental levels, and this year’s event once again assured workers that the institution has a library of ideas for the Christmas celebration.
It is a tradition for all health facilities across the Health Board to keep the Christmas season alive with songs of praise and worship. The one-week celebration in praise and worship at the Central Administration culminated on December 22, 2023, with all staff dressed in customary regalia. This dressing had music from all across the world and most importantly Northwest Traditional music. The messages, the camaraderie, and the fanfare did not distinguish Administrators from other staff members. Everyone was in unison and happy to be part of those to witness the season and to be among the staff at the Head office.
Addressing the staff, the Deputy Director for Administration and Finance (DDAF), Mr. Warri Denis appreciated them for their togetherness and passionate participation in this activity. He encouraged them to take the same spirit of teamwork and commitment into 2024.
It is worth noting that the week of praise was ushered by a message to the staff of CBC Health Services from the Director, Prof. Tih Pius Muffih, in which he encouraged staff to continue to be passionate about their work as they have always been. The Director thanked the staff for working together to realize all the great achievements of the institution. Enumerating all the wins in 2023, he assured them that there is more to be achieved in the years ahead.
In his words, Prof. Tih said, “Looking ahead, I am filled with optimism for the future of the CBC Health Services. The passion and creativity that flow through our organization are the foundation upon which we will continue to build and innovate. Together, we will embark on new ventures, set ambitious goals, and reach new heights of success. I [Prof. Tih] encourage each one of you to take a moment to reflect on your individual contributions and the collective impact we have made as a team. Your hard work, dedication, and passion have not gone unnoticed. I [Prof Tih] am grateful to lead such an exceptional group of individuals. As we enter the New Year 2024, let us carry forward the spirit of collaboration, innovation, and excellence that defines us. Together, there is no limit to what we can achieve”.
Such words of appreciation and encouragement from leaders only come to enable and energize the staff to move into the new year 2024 with revitalized enthusiasm to serve.
