Prioritizing Inclusive Education in Cameroon.

Approximately 33 million (90%) of Children with Disabilities (CWDs) in the world are out of school with a majority of them in the poorest parts of Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Cameroon’s population is about 25 million, 3.7 million are People with Disabilities and 2.2 million are Children and Youths with Disabilities. Concrete actions have been initiated to enable CWDs acquire education. Together with the Ministries of Social Affairs, Basis Education, Secondary Education, the CBC Health Services, and the Liliane Foundation

I pledge my total support to improve access to education for Children With Disabilitiess in Cameroon.

Theme:   Leave no Child with a disability behind in education: Educating a child with a disability is building an inclusive nation. This virtual conference seeks to mobilize existing opportunities to address barriers and strengthen the practice of inclusive education in Cameroon

Thème: Ne Laisser Aucun Enfant avec Handicap en Arrière dans l’Education Éduquer un enfant avec handicap, c’est bâtir une nation inclusive. Cette conférence virtuelle vise à mobiliser les opportunités existantes pour surmonter les barrières et renforcer la pratique de l’éducation inclusive au Cameroun.
