Overview
Baptist Hospital Banyo (BHB) is the first Baptist Hospital in the Adamawa region of Cameroon. The hospital started in 1999 as an Integrated Health Center, and in 2006, it was upgraded to a hospital. As at September 2024, BHB has over 80 medical personnel working 24/7 to meet the needs of the people of Adamawa region. It supervises four Intergreted Baptist Health Centers: Tibati, Allat, Nyamboya and Sarkabaka. It also has 4 Primary Health Care Centres (PHCs): Bamti, Mbah, Mbeguedje, and Kuata. BHB serves villages such as Bonhari, Kanyaka, Hore Taram, Boujunkura, Sambolabo, Ndipele, Mbah, Mbamtijumbare, Bamti Alareba, Bamti Katako, and many other towns and villages around Banyo.
