Baptist Vocational Training Centre
Skilled hands, sound character
BVTC equips young Cameroonians with practical trade skills, professional competence and Christian values — turning trainees into employed professionals and confident entrepreneurs.
A professional training institution of CBC Health Services
The Baptist Vocational Training Centre (BVTC) is committed to equipping young people with practical skills, professional competence, and Christian values for successful careers and self-reliance.
Beginning in September 2005 with just 30 trainees across five disciplines, BVTC has steadily expanded to 16 specialized training programmes. The introduction of Hotel Management and Catering in 2021 further broadened our training opportunities — and to date, we have trained more than 800 young Cameroonians, many of whom are now employed or running their own businesses across the country.
Training combines classroom instruction with extensive practical experience — workshops, field practice, internships and supervised workplace learning — so every graduate leaves with real, tested competence.
Our Mission
To witness for Christ and promote holistic community development, empowering young people through vocational education that combines technical excellence, practical experience, and Christian character.
Our Vision
To grow into a leading higher vocational training institution in Cameroon — expanding access, developing higher-level programmes, and producing professionals who meet national and international standards.
Our Goal
To equip trainees who have completed primary, secondary or higher education with industry-relevant skills — for self-employment, meaningful jobs, sustainable income, and stronger communities.
Practical, interactive, career-oriented
Learning at BVTC is hands-on from day one — built to leave graduates confident and job-ready.
16 specializations across two schools
Every programme pairs a clear entry qualification with a defined duration, so trainees know exactly what to expect.
