CBC Health Services’ Drivers Praised for Exemplary Services
Drivers of the Cameroon Baptist Convention (CBC) Health Services have been commended for hard work and prudence as they ply the roads daily for various activities. Mr. Warri Denis, Deputy Director in charge of Administration and Finance (DAF) extolled the drivers at the Baptist Centre Nkwen, Bamenda, during the dedication of a newly acquired service vehicle, on January 5, 2022.
“You are an important part of our service. Thank you for the hard work and foresightedness each time you are on the steering wheel and highways. It is because of your services that most of our activities are successful,” underpinned the DAF.
The CBC Health Services carries out activities that are often in the hard-to-reach communities without prudent drivers, it would have been a farfetched dream to reach those enclaved areas with healthcare. Therefore like the DAF underscored, the drivers are the prime movers in the attainment of the organization’s mission of quality healthcare delivery to all in need, whenever and wherever.
Sermonizing at the car dedication, Rev. Mbuh Julius likened the vehicle to a ‘good and perfect gift’ for service. Since all good and perfect gifts come from God, the prelate said it was incumbent on the users, to use it for God’s glory while rendering services to people.
The new Toyota Hilux acquired with funds from Bread for the World will be immediately put to use in the Rapid Response to Leprosy (RR-L) Project of the CBC Health Services. It is intended to ease the movement of staff leading to the attainment of project objectives and targets.
It is worth mentioning the dedication exercise was an opportunity for the DAF to salute the staff of the Grants Department for their effective service in sourcing and securing the funds for the newly acquired service car.
The RR-L Project aimed at addressing the outbreak of Leprosy in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon started August 1, 2021, and will continue till July 1, 2023.
