A Story of Hope

Little Bih and Her Grand Mother

By Delphine FRI

At 3, little Bih could still not walk, had a strange skin disease with  persistent running stomach. Everyone believed she belong to the  mother left the child to die in the care of her old mother-in-law. It was in a community outreach that Bih was discovered and found to have lived with HIV since birth. She was immediately linked to care and put on treatment. Four-year-old Bih is now strong, happy and enjoys a normal childhood life like every other in communities and homes to die.
