The CBC Health Services has once more been graced with two awards from the Scoop Media Group.
The first award to the CBC Health Services as an institution, recognized her in the “2023 Quality Health Providers to Local Communities Award”.
The second recognition went to Professor Tih Pius Muffih, in the “2023
Community Health Promotion Champion award”. The twin awards were handed in Buea by Joseph Weno of DASH Media group, representing the Publisher of the Scoop, Larry Esong. These are renowned and popular media groups in Cameroon.
These awards were handed during the Closeout and Launching ceremonies of the HIV-Free SW project on October 11, 2024 and received by the Director of CBC Health Services, Mr. Ngum Samuel and the Principal Investigator of the HIV project, Prof. Tih Pius Muffih, respectively.
The awards read:
- “The Scoop, 2023 quality health providers to local communities award, presented to the CBCHB Bamenda-North West Region”.
- “The Scoop, 2023 Community Health Promotion Champion award presented to Professor Tih Pius Muffih, for years of dedicated services to ensure Healthcare access to all and for boosting he infrastructure situation of the CBC Health Services.
Both recipients used these accolades to thank all the leaders and staff present during the ceremony, indicating that it is thanks to collective action, collaboration and hard work that these recognitions are possible.
The organizing committee of these awards comprised the Mayor of Kumba I – Barrister Eseme Moses Eseme; the Mayor of Kumba II – Chief Mbachu Jacob Kay; the Mayor of Kumba III – Dr. Mukwelle Isaac Nguba; and the Publisher of the Scoop Newspaper – Larry Esong.
