SEEPD/CBR staff schooled on CBM Compliance in activity implementation
Project staff of the Socio-Economic Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (SEEPD) Program and Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) Field workers of the CBC Health Services will henceforth uphold the compliance needs of CBM, its funding partner after having a better understanding of the expectation of the funders in project implementation. This was during 2 separate workshops that took place recently for SEEPD Project staff and CBR field workers in Yaounde and Basoussam respectively.
Opening the workshop in Yaounde, the SEEPD Program Manager noted that the expectations of funders are changing, thus it is important for staff to be trained on these changes which will enable them to meet up with the compliance expectations in activity implementation. In Bafoussam, Awa Jacques Chirac reechoed the same message while commending the field workers for their commitment towards the vision of the CBC Health Services and CBM. He reminded them that their contributions to the attainment of project results cannot be overemphasized as they are very important stakeholders in project implementation given that they touch base directly with the beneficiaries on the field.
During the workshop, participants were drilled on Group Dynamics, Fraud, and Corruption, Safety, and Security, the Role of Communication, Budgeting, Child Protection, and Branding. They were given specific guidelines on how to ensure compliance in the different areas as they implement project activities.
Closing the workshop in Yaounde, the Director of CBC Health Services Prof Tih Pius Muffih commended CBM for always being a faithful partner to the CBC Health Services. He called on SEEPD staff to take concerted actions in their different components which will reflect the expectations of CBM.
