CAMPHIA Office Dedicated In A Typical CBC Tradition
The office to accommodate staff of the CAMPHIA (Cameroon Population-based HIV Impact Assessment) project of the CBC Health Services has been officially dedicated. The dedication ceremony took place on December 6, 2023, in Yaounde.
The dedication was marked by the handing over of material comprising 2 bibles and 40 songbooks to facilitate the daily devotion at the office. Morning devotions are part of “the spiritual discipline of the institution” remarked Pastor Ngwa Oliver, the officiating Pastor.
Reading from 2nd Timothy Chapter 3, verses 16-17, Pastor Ngwa dwelled on the title: “The importance and usefulness of the word of God”. He emphasized the fact that the word of God is the lamp that lights our paths, and as individuals as well as organizations, we need to live by the word. The word of God he reiterated is unavoidable, it became flesh and it is the beginning and the end.
Living the word within the CBC Health Services transcends to offering the quality services that the institution strives to deliver to the communities. He cautioned staff to work as unto the Lord rather than working as eye servants to the institution.
The Director of CBC Health Services Prof Tih Pius Muffih who doubles as the project’s Country Director used the occasion to encourage staff to pray ceaselessly. This he did, with a reference to some great accomplishments of the institution which he attributes to Divine Grace and Intervention. “Trusting in man is close to nowhere trusting in God”, he assured them.
The management team of the CAMPHIA project was also officially installed led by Dr. Pascal Nji Atanga as Project Director and Dr. Mboh Khan Eveline as Technical Director. Prof Tih gave the leaders his blessings with a charge to deliver as is the case in their track records. As a “formidable” team, he trusts in them to make the Cameroon and the American governments proud.
Dr Atanga assured the Country Director of the determination and zeal of all his team members to continue to have outstanding results. Prayers he added will always be prioritized every day not just because they recognize the Christian institution for which they serve, but also because they can attest to the wonders of prayers.
