Newly Appointed Supervisors at CBC Health Services Central Administration Take Over Baton to Lead
Five newly appointed supervisors at the CBC Health Services Central Administration have taken over leadership. They received the mantle in a handover event on August 22, 2024, at the Director of Health Services (DHS) Conference Hall in Bamenda. Officiating this event, the DHS, Mr. Ngum Samuel described leadership as a relay race where the baton is passed to the next person to ensure continuity. He also encouraged the outgoing supervisors to continue to support those coming into positions of responsibility because handing over does not mean leaving the system.
The Deputy Director for Administration and Finance, Mr. Warri Denis during the occasion, congratulated the outgoing supervisors for a job well done, appreciating them for their sacrifices, commitments and significant contributions to the quality services provided by the CBC Health Services. On his part, the Deputy Director for Clinical Services, Dr. Manga Simon in gratitude, also urged the newly appointed as well as the outgoing supervisors to work together to ensure progress.
During the ceremony, the outgoing supervisors expressed some challenges they faced during their time of service as well as working experiences while encouraging their successors to continue from where they were stopping. The newly appointed supervisors responded in appreciation for being allowed to serve in these new positions of leadership and also promised to serve with diligence. The handing-over notes were equally signed by the incoming and outgoing supervisors under the supervision of the Director of Health Services.
Rev. Dr. Nfor Ephesians took over from Rev. Ngwang Simon as the new Chaplaincy Supervisor meanwhile Dr. Nshom Ernest assumed the role of Supervisor of Anesthesiology Services, succeeding from Mr. Mbah John. Also, Dr. Feudjio Saapi Ghislain is the new Head of the Medical Imaging Service, taking over from Mr. George Kanjoh. Mrs. Ngoran Grace Bongban replaced Mr. Fombe Justin as the Supervisor for Maternal and Child Health Services. As far as CNPS is concerned, Mr. Joseph Shuyeh Shey is the new Supervisor, replacing Mr. Yengong Nelson Tanlaka.
These new appointments are expected to bring a fresh impetus and innovative approaches to their services thus enhancing CBC Health Services’ commitment to providing quality healthcare to the community.
