Through one of its hospitals, Mboppi Baptist Hospital Douala, the CBC Health Services has once again received recognition for championing healthcare services in Cameroon. The recognition from Echo Sante took place on November 16, 2023, at the Hilton Hotel, Yaounde in an event presided at by the Minister of Health, Dr. Manaouda Malachie.

The Administrator of the Mboppi Baptist Hospital, Mr. Yongwa Zaccs received the award accompanied by the Hospital’s leaders. They were happy to hand the award to the Director of CBC Health Services, Prof. Tih Pius Muffih who once again thanked the Hospital Administrators and staff for working tirelessly to attract such a grand recognition.
The recognition followed a public vote and a technical evaluation which informed the scientific and organizing committees of the hospital’s merit of this National Excellence award for the year 2023. The hospital has been praised “for your [their] leadership in health expressed by your [their] commitment to the quest for excellence and quality of healthcare offered to the population”.
The Minister of Health used the occasion to acknowledge the work done by stakeholders in the health sector to continue to ensure good health for all Cameroonians. He reassured health leaders present at the event of the Cameroon Government’s commitment to ensure good health for all its citizens.
