The Chaplaincy Department supports the spiritual well-being of staff and patients. Activities include Bible studies, daily devotions at the health centre chapel, prayer sessions with staff, and bedside counselling and prayers for patients in the In-patient Department (IPD). We have devotions in the OPD, wards, and antenatal clinics (ANC), Enfant welfare and in all clinics of the hospital.
The chaplains provide counseling for patients with terminal illnesses, end-of-life care, premarital counselling, and marital counselling. They also work closely with doctors to support clients with chronic and terminal conditions. The department ensures that spiritual values are integrated into all hospital programs and activities. We also work to carryout inquirer classes to win more souls for Jesus. The staff are encouraging to contribute a freewill offering into the needy fund to meet the need of patients who are very needy.
The chaplaincy is open to the community as well as to staff for referrals and counter referrals.
Customer Care staff receive and direct patients to the appropriate services, provide information about departments, and document feedback. They also remind patients of appointments with specialists and follow up on service satisfaction.
