For Germans, the program is open to all young people between ages 18 to 28 who have to apply through Bread for the World in Germany. The application package consists of a handwritten application, CV and a motivation letter. Bread for the World does the selection and sends the names of qualified candidates to the Director of CBC Health Services. An invitation letter is sent to volunteers to obtain a visa. Bread for the World takes care of flight, accommodation, food, and pocket allowance for all her volunteers.
For other international persons who wish to volunteer with the CBC Health Services, they are expected to send a hand written application, motivation letter, and a CV to the Director of CBC Health Services and a copy to the volunteer’s mentor. The Director examines the application and if accepted, an invitation letter will then be forwarded to the volunteer to obtain a visa. The volunteer takes care of all expenses including lodging.
