Mankouombi Baptist Primary Health Centre is located in Masangam Sub division, in the Noun Division of the west Region of Cameroon. It is mentored by the Ngounso Baptist Hospital. It is one of the many Primary Health Centres of the CBC Health Services operating under the Life Abundant Primary Health Care (LAP) program. In this community of close to 500 inhabitants, the CBCHS continue to offer primary health services to this hard to reach community.
This PHC is created in line with the United Nation’s Declaration of 2015 on Sustainable Development Goal No.3.8 which spells out the Universal Health Coverage by 2030. It’s also in accordance with Cameroon’s Emergence agenda for 2035 announced by the President of the Republic of Cameroon and the CBCHS mission of providing quality health care to all as an expression of the Love of Christ. In a recent Mini Health Fair organized by the LAP Program, from the December 1-5, 2021 to promote good health and wellness and disease prevention among individuals, families, groups and the community at Large through health talks, counseling, screening, treatment initiation and referrals, hypertension was discovered to be the most common health challenge of this Bamoum community.
