Seraphine, a 16 years old girl was brought to the Ndu Baptist Health Center after her mother had suspected her of being pregnant. She was brought for a confirmatory test which came out positive. Seraphine wailed, and her mother was inconsolable. “How could a 16-year-old brilliant girl like Seraphine be in such a mess”. Seraphine’s mother had wondered in disbelief as she struggled to process the reality in front of her. Her husband was deceased and she saw her children and Seraphine in particular like the one who would bring them out of misery.
