As activities for the renewal of dialogue structures were ongoing, it was realized that the CMA in the Wabane health district had been abandoned for some years. So, the CBCHS ATWG decided to advocate for the reinstatement of the facility. In line with this, the ATWG seized the opportunity of the Wabane election to organize an advocacy meeting on the day of the district election i.e. on the 13th of June with the newly constituted District Health Committee, the Divisional Officer’s representative, the Mayor, the First Deputy Mayor, the District Medical Officer, the Chief of Bureau Health and the Focal point in charge of Dialogue Structures at the Southwest Regional Fund for Health

Promotion to plan for the re-opening of the facility. At the end of the meeting, a diagnosis of the problem was made with an action plan put forth with every stakeholder having a role to play in the rehabilitation of the facility. Action started immediately after the meeting with the cleaning of the environment. An official opening of the facility is planned for September 2016.
